Within a matter of seconds, people make a decision whether they like you or not.
This is the only thing you can change.
Experienced Project Managers know this too.
She will try to overcome her gut feelings and assess you accurately. The first impression is important.
I won’t go into all the details. It is beyond the scope of this article. There are however, several steps you should take:

An interviewer needs to have a starting point. This is a great way to evaluate your communication skills. Your answers will reveal your strengths and weaknesses.

If you talk about your first job as a not-relevant-job-title-here, highlight at least one episode or aspect that applies to the work of a project manager.
Do not just talk about your life.
2. Tell us about your past experience
You could say, “tell me about your experience at …”.”
If the interviewer finds something that interests her, she will dig deeper.
It could be the first question.
This question is, from my perspective, similar to the one before.
Why?
Your real experience, relevant knowledge, and education are all important.
What should you then say?
Only focus on the most important aspects of project management.

Leadership
Motivation
Productivity
Administration
Communication
Get things done
Responsibilities
Self-starting
The list isn’t really that long.
Your story should result in achievements in these areas. This is your “relevant experience.”
You should be prepared to tell stories.
3. Please tell us about the major phases of a project.

These are the same questions.
You should know the Project Life Cycle for the industry you work in.
It is also important to visualize each phase of the work.
